We have currently two openings to join the board of UPL-AOPA Luxembourg as of early 2020.
Every year, half of our eight board members seats are eligible for election. Our board members Marco Felten and Jean-Claude Frank are not seeking to renew their mandate after many years of faithful service.
We currently have a total of four seats in the board which are renewed.
Our association has no employees, hence joining the board means rolling up your sleeves and actively contributing to the organization of our association.
After the election of the new board, we define roles of each board member. Every board member typically picks up a theme which she or he develops and manages. As our association is into a digital transformation, we are keen on getting board members who can contribute on these themes besides filling up the more classic board member roles of our association.
If you care about General Aviation in Luxembourg and you are willing to contribute with your specific skills, this is your chance to do some volunteer work. We warmly invite motivated full members to stand up and apply to join the board. No one else will do our work.
The board meets every month (typically third Thursday) at n7pm for a meeting followed by an optional pilot’s dinner in a cozy atmosphere.
